Maenner to Head Wisconsin Group
Anna Maenner has been named executive director of the Wisconsin Berry Growers Association (WBGA) effective Feb. 1.
In her new position, Maenner expects to emphasize the development of marketing education programs and marketing materials for use by growers, plus work on issues impacting berry growers, like Wisconsins sign law.
Maenner is owner of ACM Administrative Services, which provides office and organizational services to a number of non-profit associations. She serves as executive director of the Wisconsin Apple Growers Association (WAGA) and serves as trade show manager for the Wisconsin Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Conference, which is sponsored jointly by WAGA, WBGA and the Wisconsin Fresh Vegetable Marketing Association.
Maenner works with various educational programs of World Dairy Expo and Wisconsin FFA Foundation. She also serves as executive director for two insurance organizations, Association of Madison Underwriters and the Society of Financial Services Professionals.
The former executive director of the Wisconsin Agribusiness Council, Maenner grew up in far northeastern Wisconsin on a Langlade County dairy farm. She replaces Corine Hill, who recently retired after serving the Wisconsin Berry Growers Association since 1993.
The new telephone number and address for the WBGA is (920) 478-4562, 211 Canal Road, Waterloo, WI 53594.
